Our Process
Our spray granite process uses a specialist multi-layer system to recreate the natural depth and character of real granite stone. Every stage is critical to achieving a durable, authentic result.
The kitchen area is carefully prepared before any work begins. Surrounding units, appliances and surfaces are fully masked and protected. The worktops themselves are thoroughly cleaned to remove grease, residue and contaminants.
The worktop surface is sanded down to remove any shine and create a mechanical key for the coatings to bond to. This stage is essential for adhesion and long-term durability. Any chips or damage are addressed at this point.
A specialist adhesion primer is applied to the prepared surface. This creates the ideal base for the granite effect coatings and ensures the system bonds firmly to the substrate, whether laminate, wood, solid surface or stone.
The base colour coat is applied using professional spray equipment. This layer establishes the primary tone of the finished granite effect and creates the foundation for the natural-looking fleck and depth to follow.
We apply the Infinity Spray Granite system - a professional-grade granite effect coating - using a specially engineered spray gun designed to replicate the natural stone appearance. Multiple layers of granite particle fleck are built up to create the authentic depth and character of real granite. The water-based formula is quick-drying, allowing the protective clear topcoat to follow shortly after.
Once the granite effect layers have fully cured, a high-performance protective sealant is applied. This seals the finish, provides food-safe protection, and gives the surface the durable, easy-to-clean qualities you'd expect from a quality worktop.
The Coating System
The Infinity Spray Granite system uses granite particles in a water-based resin, applied using a specially engineered spray gun to create a seamless, genuine stone-effect finish.
Consisting of four to five product layers, the system is engineered to be fully waterproof, flexible and crack-resistant - more resilient than comparable products on the market. Manufactured in the UK, it contains no dangerous chemicals, is odour-free during application, and carries anti-bacterial properties.
The coating is fully waterproof and seamless, so there's no need to worry about spills. Wine, oils and everyday kitchen mess wipe away cleanly - no soaking in, no staining.

No. The Infinity system requires specialist professional spray equipment, proper extraction, and trained technique to achieve the layered stone effect correctly. DIY application would not produce the depth and quality of the professional result, and adhesion failures are common without the correct preparation and primer system.
Spray granite surfaces are straightforward to maintain. Day-to-day cleaning with a damp cloth and mild detergent is all that's required. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads and harsh chemicals, as these can dull the sealant over time. The finish is heat and scratch-resistant, but we recommend using chopping boards and hot pan stands as you would with any quality worktop.
